The Richard G. Polanco Fellows Alumni Scholarship Program: Since 2004, the CLCI has presented the Richard G. Polanco Public Policy Fellowship Program, a year-long, world-class leadership building experience for high quality candidates. In the fall of 2013, the Polanco Fellows Program transitioned into the new CLCI Polanco Fellows Alumni Program.
The Core Mission of the CLCI Polanco Fellow Alumni Program is to create a statewide network of CA Latino leadership and support Latinos in Post Graduate education.
The Vision of the CLCI Polanco Fellow Alumni Program is to establish regional hubs that support a statewide network of partnerships incorporating
Chrysler/CLCI Elected Official Training Academy Alumni, CA Latino Legislative Caucus Members and local nonprofits and community organizations.

B. Regional Alumni Partnerships with public, private and non-profit organizations with the goal of addressing and improving basic, fundamental problems and concerns in low-income and underserved culturally diverse communities; and
C. Polanco Fellow Alumni Post Graduate Scholarship Program addressing the need for greater Latino Post Graduate funding opportunities. The Pew Hispanic Trends Project reported that Latino students have the lowest college completion rates of any other racial/ethnic group—even after surmounting the obstacles on the path to college, such as low financial resources and inadequate career guidance. The PF Alumni Scholarship Program will financially help those who do go forward to attain a post graduate degree. The 2014 goal will be to raise four (4) $5,000 Scholarships for a total of $20,000.
