  Miguel Martinez
Miguel Martinez, a graduate of UC Davis and the recipient of two B.A’s, one in Political Science and the other in Chicana/o Studies. He served as a Peer Counselor for the Educational Opportunity Program at UC Davis along with serving in several other counseling and leadership positions on-campus and the surrounding communities. He considers education to be one of the most pressing public policy issues for the state. His hometown is the South Central section of Los Angeles.

  Tomas Oliva
Tomas Oliva is a recent graduate of the University of California, San Diego where he received his B.A. in Political Science- Public Law. He worked for the Early Academic Outreach Program where he tutored students in low-income and disadvantaged communities. His interests are Education and Law. He was born in Los Angles and later moved to El Centro, CA which he considers to be his hometown.

Yuliana Mendez is a graduate of Sacramento State University, where she majored in Philosophy with a concentration in Ethics & Law and minored in Anthropology and Deaf Studies. Yuliana is a former CAMP Scholar and she is a proud native of Live Oak, California.

  Esmeralda Martin
Esmeralda Martin is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles and majored in Political Science with a concentration on Political Theory and minored in Chicana/o Studies. Her hometown is Pinole, California. As an undergraduate she attended the Vanguardia Latina Conference in Washington D.C. which brought together student leaders from all over the country and Latin America. She also served as a resident assistant to the Migrant Student Leadership Institute at UCLA, and worked closely with the Day Laborer community through organizations like IDEPSCA (Institute of Popular Education in Southern California) and Proyecto de Journaleros.

  Luis Tapia
Luis Tapia, is a graduate of UC San Diego who holds a degree in Political Science and a minor in International Migration Studies. He partook in the Center For Comparative Immigration Studies Mexican Migration Field Research and Training Program at UCSD, where he conducted field research on migration patterns between Yucatan, Mexico and the United States The results were published in Mayan Journeys: The New Migration from Yucatan to the United States. Luis also worked in the U.S. Embassy's Commercial Section in Mexico City and has also been involved with housing related issues working as a mortgage and real-estate consultant focusing primarily on first time Latino home buyers. His hometown is Galt, California.

  Felipe Perez
Felipe Perez is a graduate of Stanford University where he received his B.A. in Human Biology with Honors. He was also part of the Stanford Quest Scholars Program and served as an Investigative Fellow for the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform in the U.S. House of Representatives and was an assistant to the Chief Medical Officer of the City of Baltimore. His hometown is Long Beach, California.
