Madrinas Padrinos Leadership Program


The California Latino Caucus Institute's Madrinas Padrinos Leadership Program is designed for young professionals interested in leadership development and serving their community. The goal of the program is to provide its members the skills necessary to maximize their leadership potential while creating a professional network of peers.

MPLP is governed by a committee of dedicated individuals appointed by the CLCI Board of Director's to administer its programming. MPLP programming includes professional networking events, leadership development, public policy forums, youth mentorship and philanthropic community service projects.

The Madrinas Padrinos Leadership Program's annual dues are $100.00. Members in good standing are provided with opportunities to participate in the programming of the MPLP for free or at a low cost. Members of the MPLP come from diverse backgrounds in the public, nonprofit and private sectors. All members of the MPLP are asked to adhere to a code of ethics that promotes the CLCI core values: a) Innovative Public Service; b) Cultural Diversity and Tolerance; c) Ethical and Responsible Leadership; d) International Cooperation and e) Equal Access to Education.
