|
The Chrysler/CLCI Elected Officials Training Academy is held at least twice a year in collaboration with the Drucker Institute at Claremont Graduate University and the Institute for Local Government. This program is like no other in the state. It offers an intensive learning environment that cultivates key leadership qualities and teaches skills necessary to developing effective and innovative approaches to local governance.
The Academy classes are comprised of local elected members from school boards, city councils, water boards and county supervisors.
Each class is comprised of 40 men and women who are the decision makers for developing solutions that create stronger municipal
infrastructures. Good governance and oversight procedures that address the need in California will be highlighted.
All participants
also receive AB1234 certification training provided by the Institute for Local Government.
All participant expenses for their accommodations, training, books, and meals are hosted by a CLCI with a grant
from the Chrysler Foundation. Space is limited this is on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED basis
