A Message from Senator Richard Polanco (Ret.) Chairman CLCI

Public service is an honorable career. Established in 2002 by the CA Latino Legislative Caucus, The California Latino Caucus Institute (CLCI) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization created to serve as a broad based public policy educational and leadership development organization. Our mission is to enhance the knowledge and experience of the next generation of California’s ethnically diverse leaders.

I am pleased to invite you to join us for our next two-day Chrysler/CLCI Elected Officials Training Academy to be held Thursday November 5– Saturday November 7, 2009 at:

The Doubletree Hotel Ontario
222 North Vineyard Avenue
Ontario, CA 91794

This is one of the CLCI’s signature programs and is not exclusively for Latino elected officials. The Academy will provide invaluable leadership skills and public policy knowledge, as well as assist in building networks of experts and elected officials. Participants will need to cover their own transportation costs.

All accommodations, registration, materials and meals will be paid for and are complimentary thanks to the generous support of the Chrysler Foundation who has fully funded this program. Participants do not have to be Latino to participate with our Elected Officials Academy and we invite and encourage diversity.

Participant placement will be on a first come first served basis. Space is limited and your RSVP is requested no later than Friday October 30, 2009.

Please fax your form to FAX 323 664-7222 or contact Lisa Baca-Sigala, at (323) 660-7234
