As Director of Government Affairs for PEPSICO, Lupe De La Cruz manages public policy activities for eight states in the western region of the United States. Lupe represents PepsiCo’s diverse convenient food and beverages portfolio with policy makers and community leaders and directs PepsiCo’s community engagement in those states.

Originally from the Greater Los Angeles area, Lupe began his career in government affairs working on several political campaigns and grassroots mobilization. A graduate from UCLA in Political Science, Lupe has great passion for public policy. He served in the office of Congressman Esteban E. Torres and later as Advocacy Director of the AARP California State office.

Lupe joined PEPSICO 5 years ago and is proud of the continued relationship with California Latino Caucus Institute and Polanco Fellows.
